91 tickets have been sold for the Summer Social. The event organised by KC should be another success. Great work KC!

Lets have a last minute push on ticket sales. Can you please show your support by liking/sharing adverts on Linkedin and Facebook if possible.

Riz: thanks for the push!

Rest: I manage to get the venue to include their special QianLong Cocktail as one of the coupon drink. The coupon can also change to either a glass of house white/red or soft drink (no beer I'm afraid... I demand better!) I will sort out the coupon myself 

The venue has two floors & they will be open for us to utilise. Ground floor plus spillage to the street can hold 80 but I manage to get them to open the basement just in case. 

Also there is bar snack people can order via the... Bar. 

Can I get some of the committee team to arrive a touch early just in case. All of your help is much appreciated. 

The early bird tix is all gone. Those who paid on the door will be £10. We got to recoup some of the expense.

Finally for those who is keen to know. Eventbrite take 78p & Paypal take 40p cut off the £6 ticket. & the remain should manage to cover the 1st Drink & the venue... just.

Kc - excellent event yesterday, well done !

Many new faces (110+ attendees) and I received really good feedback.

I think we may need to include more socials in the diary.

Thanks for the effort & I just want to share some of the headline feedback via survey monkey 

Generally speaking, the venue is too small for our ambition, which leads to ppl rather choice view on the venue. To be frank I expect ppl spill over the street but it did not materialise :-( 

I got a few other venue in mind that is more user friendly. So expect another social drinks in the near future.

It's a tricky one.

To find a venue in Central London is going to cost . As KC mentioned the Hilton wanted a £45/head min spend. I think £10 was comfortably priced but a spacious location in London will not be cheap!

Also, unless we have an area set aside it makes networking harder. The badges point is valid but for £6 plus a drink (including fees) where will the ££ come from,

If you recall at the free Hilton event last year people were asking where the drinks were??? Certainly food for thought for the next meeting.

The venue issue is like income tax - a great problem to have - it is a problem of success, we sold lots of places so it was full!

Fwiw I didn't miss name badges one little bit.

i think we need a general survey? Asking about type of events? frequency of them they prefer? paid event? how much etc?
