Legendary DJ and one-time WMCA “Good Guy” Dandy Dan Daniel
died suddenly on Tuesday (6/21). Dandy Dan got his start on the radio
back in 1955 on KXYZ, Houston. He landed on WMCA, New York in 1961 and
stayed there for nine years. After leaving WMCA he worked in New York
on WHN (now WEPN), WYNY-FM, and WCBS-FM. See Art Vuolo’s video tribute to Dandy Dan here.
