Is there any other city in the world where the death of a DJ would take up 50% of the front page of the principal daily newspaper (including space above and below the fold)?  For the obit see this page.

Absolutely impressive, Adam, and almost always without a powerhouse top 40; he made his indelible mark from the street on up. While I could find some of his verbal noisemaking to be a bit intrusive (to put it kindly), his musical taste was impeccable when it came to r&b, doo-wop and more. And the world of music owes a lot to Lost Nite Records for "keeping the big beat alive." 

RIP, Geator. Half a page, indeed; really nice to see it.
