What kind of healthy works for you?

Let's Prevent is a bimonthly email from Diabetes WA focused on helping West Australians prevent health conditions before they happen.

When it comes to our health, it’s easy to be drawn to quick fixes—whether it’s that one superfood (according to TikTok), the perfect exercise, or a simple brain-boosting trick. However, the reality is that no two health journeys are the same. Our bodies are all different, so what works for one person might not be right for another.

In this issue, we’re excited to welcome you to the Diabetes WA Community Network, giving you the opportunity to share your thoughts and help shape the future of diabetes support in WA.

We also feature insights from Marian Brennan, a credentialled diabetes educator and exercise physiologist, on how to rethink exercise as we get older.

Along with these highlights, you’ll find our usual collection of recipes and resources from Diabetes WA. Enjoy!

Happy reading!

In this edition

  • Welcome to level one of the new Diabetes Community Network!
  • Changing our ideas about exercise as we age
  • Upcoming training opportunities
  • Recipes, programs and workshops, and member benefits

FEATURES
