A friendly reminder that the next Warren Blackwood Human Services Network Meeting is next week:

· Thursday 5^th December

· 10.00 am to 12.00 noon

· The Bridgetown Hub, Terminus Building, corner Steere and, Roe St, Bridgetown WA 6255

Our guest speaker will be Carole Green, WA Council of Social Services (WACOSS) Heat Vulnerability Project Manager.

Are you thinking about the impacts of heat and heatwaves on your community this summer? The WA Council of Social Services is running a project to look at Heat Vulnerability across Western Australia. This project will be doing mapping of regions at risk as well as working with communities to develop interventions for high heat. Carole Green, the project manager, will present on the risks from high heat to the community, ways of protecting the community and yourselves, and key ways to get involved in the work happening in Bridgetown/Greenbushes.
