IHC 2023 Scheduling Update

Hi ladies,

I hope everyone is having a great week! I am sending another email to advise members of changes to our 2023 meeting calendar. As some of you may already know, we have canceled our meeting this coming Thursday, January 12. We're going to change gears and alternate our meetings to every other month (instead of every month). We're hoping that if everyone can save the dates for our meetings in advance, we'll increase attendance!

• February 9, 2023: We are excited to announce that the In-House Counsel Committee is co-sponsoring the Women in the Courtroom Committee's (WICC) upcoming event, "Finding Your Voice in the Courtroom and the Boardroom." The event will be in-person at Suffolk Law School from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The WICC has put together an excellent panel that includes the Hon. Denise Casper, Hon. Debra Squires-Lee, Stephanie Seigmann and Megan Siddal. The panel will be moderated by Payal Salsburg. As an event sponsor, we will be helping with promotion so please let your network know about the event and plan to attend if your schedules allow it! I will be posting on LinkedIn so please feel free to share the post if you'd like. You can register here and I've also attached the Event Flyer.  I will also send out reminders as we get closer to the event.
  
  
• April 6, 2023: The IHC will meet again on April 6, 2023. As the date approaches, I will provide details on whether this will be via zoom or in person. 
  
  
• Summer 2023: We know that scheduling meetings in the summer can be taxing with vacations and other commitments so we are hopeful to schedule one fun summer event for the summer before picking back up in the fall. Details to follow!

Please put these dates on your calendar as we'd love to see you all at the WICC event and again in April.  In addition, we are working to put together a panel on Diversity Equity and Inclusion. If you have any thoughts on the topic or contacts that you think would be helpful for the program please do not hesitate to contact me! We're always open to feedback about hearing everyone's feedback and input on programming and meetings. Feeling burnt out from too many zoom meetings? Let us know!
