We hope you all had a great weekend. We wanted to send an email alerting everyone to our upcoming events as a continuation of our Lunch & Learn series:

• September 19, 2024:  "Environmental Justice - What is it and what will it mean for my business or my clients?"  We will be joined by Attorney Kirsten Etela to discuss the growing influence of the environmental justice movement and the opportunities and challenges it presents to business decision-making. • October 10, 2024: "Immigration 101."  This program will feature Ellen Sullivan, Founding Attorney of Cambridge Immigration Law, and her colleague Sara Trefethen, who will break immigration down into four main categories (temporary visas; family-based visas; employment-based visas; and humanitarian relief) and alert you to red-flags that cannot be overlooked when assessing a noncitizen's legal status and options in the US. • November 7, 2024: Save the date for the last event in our Lunch & Learn Series on "How to Work with Recruiters," featuring Karen Welling of Welling Consultants, and Trish Nowak and Kathryn Martin of Major, Lindsey & Africa. All of the Lunch & Learn events outlined above will be virtual from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you all!

As a final note, Julia and I will be cycling off as the chairs of the IHC at the end of this year. We have really enjoyed working with all of you over the years and think that's its time for some new faces to take over the committee!
