I hope that you’re all having a fabulous week! I wanted to circulate the WBA’s email from earlier today regarding our upcoming virtual event, “The Opportunities and Perils of AI in Legal Practice.” It will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM! We have teamed up with the Solo and Small Firm Committee to co-sponsor the event in hopes we can reach even more WBA members and ensure a great turnout. Our virtual panel consists of Henal Patel, Director of DocJuris, Inc., a leading creator in artificial intelligence contract review software, and Sammy Ford, IV, Partner of Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Menzing, a seasoned litigator experiencing and utilizing artificial intelligence firsthand in his practice and the courtroom. We have put together an interactive discussion about the availability and application of artificial intelligence in the legal world, generally, as well as what specific questions we should be asking AI providers to address ethical concerns and avoid any data security pitfalls.
