renaming wazuh server

Hello!
I want to rename the wazuh server on ubuntu 22.04 (all components installed on the same host, using installation assistant from Quickstart). Can I do this using sudo hostnamectl set-hostname <newhostname> and then just restart the services? All agents connect to the server by ip address.

Hi Bill. You can modify it but you should check the files where the server is specified, and if the hostname is used in any of them, you will need to modify it. Afterward, you'll have to restart all services.

Files:

• /etc/filebeat/filebeat.yml
• /etc/wazuh-indexer/opensearch.yml
• /etc/wazuh-dashboard/opensearch_dashboards.yml
