WAZUH-INDEXER CANNOT INITIALIZE

/usr/share/wazuh-indexer/bin/indexer-security-init.sh: line 104: runuser: command not found

i Just installed my wazuh indexer on Debian 11
I get this error when i run /usr/share/wazuh-indexer/bin/indexer-security-init.sh"

Hello ikem michael,

This error indicates that the runuser command is not present on your system, this command can be installed on Debian using the following command:
  • sudo apt-get -y install util-linux

Thanks for your reply, I tried that I still have the same issue.

Could you tell us what base your operating system starts from? Is it a Vagrant box? Have you used a minimal ISO to install it? It is necessary to know this to be able to reproduce your problem in a similar environment.
Could you tell us what output you get when you run the command I mentioned?

It turns out that /sbin is not in the path by default on Debian 11 so just run

export PATH=/sbin:$PATH

You can persist by adding it to /etc/profile
