How to create custom Reports and Send as a mail attachement

     How to generate custom reports and send as a mail attachment. please share documentation and sample coding with screen shots.

Hi Venkatesan A,

I hope you are doing well. Thank you for using Wazuh.

You can configure your own customized report by using the report option in the ossec.conf . Reports can be customized based on level, source, username, rule id, etc.See the report documentation to learn more.

To send reports as a mail attachment you need to configure a SMTP server and email alerts.

      These points are already covered. But , I am unable to  find how to attach a pdf file in the mail - reports  alerts.

From what I have gathered, there currently isn't direct functionality to automate sending a PDF report. This is because the PDF report is not generated by the Wazuh app itself.

Sorry for not having a positive answer on this.

However, you may create reports through Kibana's reporting feature which is based on custom dashboards, for the PDF report generation. You can find more about this feature here
