I need help figuring out how to log into the Wazuh Dashboard Admin

Hi everyone, I'm a Wazuh amateur, I have many questions to ask but I prefer to start with just one......how do I use the Wazuh Dashboard Administrator account? I followed the manual to install, but then I log in automatically only with the "Wazuh" account and obviously without administrative powers! How can I correct this problem of mine? Thank you all! Please explain your exact query for my better understanding. I assume, you have deployed the latest version (v4.4.2) of Wazuh. May I know how did you perform the installation?

Hi Abdullah,
sorry for the delay in answering you. I installed version 4.0.4-1 on a Debian 11 following this online manual:

Thanks to this site I was able to install Wazuh without problems, but I realized that I didn't have the possibility to access the administrative part of Wazuh.

How can I solve this problem, painlessly? :)

Hi Christian,

I believe that you want to access to Kibana dashboard. Based on your deployment, the user and password both should be admin and you can do pretty much all the administrative tasks from the dashboard. I would recommend you to use our latest version (v4.4.3) of Wazuh that comes with lots of improvements.

You can follow the guides below that provides you with different deployment options:

Hi Abdullah,
theoretically it should be able to let me log in as ADMIN, in reality I realize I can't log in. Let me explain better by attaching some screenshots

1) First of all, when I access Kibana via http://localhost:5601 I am not prompted for credentials, but log in directly;

2) From this screenshot you can see that the administrative option is missing :

3) If I want to add alert emails, the system does not allow me to make the changes

4) Every change I try to make (Add user, a group, a rule) always returns me an error similar to the one below

It seems that there are no permissions that allow the user to make changes, no doubt there is some passage not mentioned in that guide missing, and I wanted to understand if I could fix it in some way.

If there are no solutions, can I upgrade to the latest version? Which section of the manual should I follow?
