Dear Team,

One of our client is looking for Capacity Management, the server / storage details for monitoring 250+ servers. 80% of the servers Linux / Unix (variants) remaining 20% are Microsoft Windows Servers. They want to know how much should be the Wazuh server's RAM, Processor and Storage required for in-house deployment.

Also please let us know how much log a Server (Linux / Windows) would generate per day if I enable all the options in Wazuh.

Thanks in Advance,
Sharo

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us!

Calculating the exact capacity needed for a system is not quite straightforward, as it will depend on the specific activity that your client's environment is subject to.

For system requirements, we usually recommend that a Wazuh manager has at least 2 dedicated CPU cores and 4GB of ram, but 4 cores and 16GB are recommended.
As far as storage requirements go, we estimate that on a 90-day period, 250 servers would generate a little under 500GB of data.
You can learn more about our on-premise installation requirements in our documentation https://documentation.wazuh.com/current/installation-guide/index.html

You may also consider using our cloud service, a simple way to set up Wazuh installations for yourself or your clients. You may use our pricing calculator in order to estimate the capacity requirements for your system and the usage tier you might need!

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions on this matter!
