Saludos

Good morning Wazuh community

I have been using Wazuh for almost a year and it has been a very interesting experience, I have found a lot of information about Wazuh in this forum and in the documentation, to deploy a Wazuh cluster at production level "On premise".

However, for the need of the operation it is necessary that the cluster is migrated to Kubernetes in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), currently the cluster is installed in conjunction with EKS, doing research regarding the deploy of Wazuh in Kubernetes I found that there is already an image for the deployment supported by the Wazuh team.

My questions are:

- To deploy Wazuh in Kubernetes together with EKS is there an image that contains EKS, will it be necessary to create one or should they be deployed in separate images (one for Wazuh and one for EKS)?
- Is there a guide or article of a case where the deployment in Kubernetes of Wazuh with EKS using OCI is already done?

Best Regards

Hi Isaac,

We are very glad you are using the product and enjoyed the experience. Let's take a look at your questions so we can help you in any way we can.

- To deploy Wazuh on Kubernetes along with EKS is there an image containing EKS, will it be necessary to create one or should they be deployed in separate images (one for Wazuh and one for EKS)?

Wazuh maintains a repository with official images for Kubernetes that you then deploy to your cluster. Although the primary example is EKS from AWS, you can deploy these images to any provider that provides a certified Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, OpenShift, etc).  Therefore, you should also be able to use it to deploy Wazuh on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

- Is there any guide or case study article where you have already deployed on Kubernetes for Wazuh with EKS using OCI?
EKS is one of the kubernetes services provided by AWS. You should use the Wazuh Kubernetes repository to deploy to any provider you need.
We don't have official Wazuh deployment documentation for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure yet, but you can use the official Wazuh documentation for kubernetes or the blog post for EKS as a reference.

If you have any additional questions we will be happy to discuss them together.

Thanks,
