ERROR with SMTP server with authentication

Hi everyone,

i am using vm provided by wazuh 3.2.0 centos.

i am trying to configure email alert in this, 

i am following the documentation i have changed configuration as document.

now  when i am trying to Do SMTP server authentication i am getting following error 

when i am trying following command

# yum update && yum install postfix mailx cyrus-sasl cyrus-sasl-plain

what should be done in this case ?

Hi Anju,

It seem your DNS is not working. Please, check /etc/resolv.conf for valid DNS Server.

You can add a line in these file to use Google´s 8.8.8.8 public DNS server:

nameserver 8.8.8.8

Save the file and exit. Everything should works fine. (Not necessary to restart)
