Detailed upgrade process 4.3.10 -> 4.4.0

Good morning to all,

I have the wazuh server v.4.3.10 on only one ubuntu node and the agents v. 4.3.10 on win10 endpoints.

Can you explain me the detailed procedures to upgrade the wazuh server from 4.3.10 to 4.4.0 and the endpoint agents from 4.3.10 to 4.4.0 with centralized command.

Here you can find a detailed upgrade guide for all Wazuh components.

As indicated, you must first upgrade the Wazuh central components. To do this, you must select one of the three options below according to your Wazuh installation and follow the instructions:

• Wazuh central components
• Wazuh and Open Distro for Elasticsearch
  
• Wazuh and Elastic Stack basic license

Once you have successfully upgraded the central components, you must upgrade the agents. It is possible to upgrade the Wazuh agents either remotely from the Wazuh manager or locally.

Upgrading the Wazuh agents remotely is possible by using the agent_upgrade tool and the Wazuh API. More information about the process can be found in the Remote agent upgrade section.

As a suggestion, take the necessary precautions, such as backing up your data and configurations, before proceeding with the upgrade. This can help ensure a smooth and successful upgrade process.
