Dear Wazuh Support Team,

I am currently using Wazuh version 4.8 and have encountered an issue. When trying to access certain features or sections within the Wazuh interface, I receive the following error message:

"Application Not Found: No application was found at this URL. Try going back or choosing an app from the menu."

This issue persists despite multiple attempts to reload the page or access the features from different parts of the Wazuh UI.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue? Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

Bhargav

Hello Bhargav,

Could you please provide the version of Wazuh you are using and let me know if you have recently upgraded Wazuh?

If you encounter the message Application Not Found when accessing the Wazuh dashboard after upgrading, it might be that the configuration file /etc/wazuh-dashboard/opensearch_dashboards.yml wasn't overwritten with new changes. To resolve this issue, update the uiSettings.overrides.defaultRoute setting with the /app/wz-home value in the configuration file:

uiSettings.overrides.defaultRoute: /app/wz-home

Please note that once the Opensearch version changes, it cannot revert to a previous version. For more information, refer to this troubleshooting guide.

It's possible that a step was missed during the Dashboard upgrade. For guidance, refer to the upgrade guide.

If you are not upgraded Wazuh and are encountering issues, please check these logs for troubleshooting:
cat /var/log/wazuh-indexer/wazuh-cluster.log | grep -i -E "error|warn"
journalctl -u wazuh-dashboard
cat /usr/share/wazuh-dashboard/data/wazuh/logs/wazuhapp.log | grep -i -E "error|warn"

Please let me know how it goes.

regards,
Hasitha Upekshitha

Hello Hasitha,

Thank you for your guidance. I have verified that the uiSettings.overrides.defaultRoute is already set to /app/wz-home in the configuration file.

Interestingly, I encountered the same issue previously, and I have not made any updates recently.

I’ll check the logs as you suggested and let you know if I find anything unusual.

Best regards,

Hello Bhargav,

I hope you're doing well!

Could you let me know if the issue is still occurring or if it’s been resolved?
If you're still facing the issue, please share the output of the following commands so I can take a closer look:

cat /var/log/wazuh-indexer/wazuh-cluster.log | grep -i -E "error|warn"
journalctl -u wazuh-dashboard
cat /usr/share/wazuh-dashboard/data/wazuh/logs/wazuhapp.log | grep -i -E "error|warn"

For further share the URL of that web page

Looking forward to your update!

Regards,
Hasitha Upekshitha
