Hi Wazuh Team,

I would like to create a custom dashboard panel, specifically the one that I marked in red on the screenshot I shared. Is it possible to create or customize that panel to display custom data or queries?

Hello,

You can create your own custom dashboard in the Wazuh dashboard. The process starts with creating visualization(s) and then transforming the data from one or more single visualizations into a group of visualizations that provide a clear representation of your data. You can find more information on how to create visualizations and dashboards here - Creating custom dashboards

Feel free to read through this blog post on Integrating Dependency-Track with  Wazuh. It contains a section where visualizations and a custom dashboard was created. This will give you more insight into how to create a custom dashboard to meet your specific requirements.

To create the exact same visualization you highlighted, follow these steps. (A dashboard is made up of one or more visualizations).

1. On the Wazuh dashboard, navigate to  Explore > Visualize and click the Create new visualization. 2. Select the Data Table visualization.

3. Select wazuh-states-inventory-* as source index pattern.

4. Configure the Metrics and Buckets sections in the Data tab (on the right side on the page) using the images below as a guide.

5. Click Update.
You should see the visualization.

6. Next, click Save at the top of the screen and add a Title and Description (optional) then save.

Create custom dashboard
1. To create the dashboard, On the Wazuh dashboard, navigate to  Explore > Dashboards and click the Create new dashboard.

2. Click Add an existing and select the visualization you created earlier.

You can resize or move the visualization around as you please. Save the dashboard by clicking Save at the top of the screen.

You have now created the desired dashboard. Remember you can add multiple visualizations.
