How to change wazuh agents's IP from v6 to v4

Hi there,
I'm getting trouble in identifying the agent's IP in dashboard because its showing me in the format of IPv6. so how can i make it in IPv4 so that it can easily understandable.

Hello Maanvi,

IWazuh does not  translate IPv6 addresses into IPv4. Furthermore, not all IPv6 addresses can be translated so it's not recommended to attempt this.
If you want Wazuh to display the agent's IP address in IPv4 format, you will have to configure a gateway that connects the agent to the manager that uses an IPv4 address.

Hello Maanvi,

Sorry for the delayed response. The process to change or add a default gateway in your agent's machines greatly depends on the OS each of them are using.
For example, if you are using a Linux machine, you could use the route commands as seen here to define new default routes:
On Windows, you could edit the network settings to enable IPv4, like seen in Microsoft's official documentation:
