Hello Team,

I am a SOC Analyst new to Wazuh SIEM,  pls what is the easiest way to get started and install Wazuh for my labs?

Hi,

I would advise you first setup your CentOS 7 x86_64 on your preferred Virtual Machine.

There are several ways to deploy Wazuh, depending on what you require.

You can start by following the below instructions, if you wish to install each component separately, perhaps because you want to utilize various machines: https://documentation.wazuh.com/current/installation-guide/wazuh-indexer/index.html

or, if you want to deploy everything quickly, you can do it by following this guide: https://documentation.wazuh.com/current/quickstart.html

Then you can proceed to installing your agents for monitoring, this must be installed after setting up the central components. You can use the following instructions (according to your preferred operating system): https://documentation.wazuh.com/current/installation-guide/wazuh-agent/index.html
