Howdy,

I have my Wazuh setup on 3 different servers and I have used the Wazuh Installation Assistant Guide.

I ran into the same issue mentioned in:

My Dashboard fails to install:

So I run the Health check and it comes back GREEN:

I then check the Indexer for its status is refused connection. So the security settings are not properly setup per the steps given in  "https://groups.google.com/g/wazuh/c/q70QngqBduU?pli=1"

I rerun the wazuh-install.sh -s on the indexer which states its successful and then reinstall the dashboard with the steps provided: ./wazuh-install.sh -wd dashboard-name

But it still gets the error of connecting to the Indexer and starting the Dashboard. What are my next steps?

Hi Steven:

I understand that you have used the installation wizard to install the Wazuh indexer, Wazuh dashboard and Wazuh server on three different servers.
From what you share with us, I understand that you should already have the Wazuh indexer and Wazuh server installed correctly on the other two servers, could you please confirm if this is correct?

Assuming the above components have been installed correctly, you should be able to run the Wazuh dashboard installer without any problems. For this, you should have generated a configuration file at the beginning of the installation process, which is used to generate the Wazuh cluster key, certificates and passwords needed for the installation. As a result, you should get a file called wazuh-install-files.tar which you should place in the same directory where you will run wazuh-install.sh to install Wazuh dashboard. Could you confirm if you were able to perform these steps correctly?

If so I will ask you to run the installer again adding the -v option to include more details of the error as seen below:

sudo bash wazuh-install.sh --wazuh-dashboard {name} -v

And then share with us the output of this run, the log file located in /var/log/wazuh-install.log and the config.yml file you initially used.

Since this is a public group please remember to verify that the information you share does not include private information, credentials or other information you want to protect.

Thanks,

So that's weird - It is stating that no certificate is present in the wazuh-install-files.tar thats present as shown below. This is the same .tar that was created on the indexer server and copied to the wazuh server and the dashboard server shown here.
