Kibana is active but not accessible on the broswer

Hello, 

I have a single-cluster wazuh-ek setup, 4.0 version. Both kibana and elastic search are on the same system. Sending a curl request to port 9200 and accessing that port on the browser yields data. Systemctl status check on filebeat, wazuh, kibana and elasticsearch shows that they are running.

But the standard 5601 port doesnt work for kibana access. 

On the documentation https://documentation.wazuh.com/4.0/installation-guide/open-distro/distributed-deployment/step-by-step-installation/kibana/index.html#kibana, it says that I should edit the wazuh.yml file under /usr/share/kibana/optimize/wazuh/config/wazuh.yml. But the wazuh folder doesnt exist in this path, insider folder optimize. 

Any suggestions?

Adding to the above.

netstat check for port activity shows that port 5601 is not even open/active.
