Cannot connect to srever with any agent I make

 Good Afternoon,

I have been getting this message in my log:

wazuh-agent: ERROR: (1216): Unable to connect to '[x.x.x.x]:1514/tcp': 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.'.

Things I have tried:

1. Testing different agents - no change
2. checking ossec.conf file on agent - correct IP of server
3. Uninstall and reinstall both on server and agent
4. Making sure server ports are listening
5. Can ping agent -> server and server -> agent with no issues
6. I have registered the agent on the server and shows up in dashboard but only in the disconnected state

If you have any ideas to what might be the issue I would love your input. Really want to make it work for my server.

Hi Ryan.
Thank you for using Wazuh!

I have a couple of things I would check with caution.
1. Do you have firewalls activated in the agent/manager?
2. Can you see in /var/ossec/logs/ossec.log if the manager detected an agent trying to connect to it?

On the other side, I have these questions for you
1. Is the IP to which you are trying to connect the agent a public IP or a private network?
2. Are you using online installation command?
3. Have you ever connected an agent or is it a completely new installation?
