wazuh-passwords-tool.sh on wazuh admin acct broke wazuh ova

Hi Wazuh list,

I am testing the OVA image wazuh-4.2.5_1.13.2.ova

I was wanting to change the default wazuh/wazuh password.

I found the tool/script to do so below and ran it and though it ran and output seemed without error then wazuh no longer worked.  The web interface was no longer reachable.

./wazuh-passwords-tool.sh -u wazuh -p password

All services showed status running (green).  I rebooted and re-tried also.

systemctl status kibana
systemctl status elasticsearch
systemctl status filebeat
systemctl status wazuh-manager

I'm restoring a backup I took before doing this change in case i had problems.  

Does the pass change tool not work on latest ova image?

What would be advised to check?

Hi Brandon,

While I look into it, could you see if the passwords you tried to change was changed in /etc/filebeat/filebeat.yml?
