If you have followed the steps in the following installation guide for the Windows agent, then the GUI should show the set IP and after restart, the agent should get the key via enrollment, so it should be automatic:
If this doesn't happen, then you will have to check the reason:
- If in the GUI, the IP appears as 0.0.0.0, then you will need to change it to the IP of the server and click the Save button. Once done, restart the agent (Manage -> Restart). Then, refresh the GUI and if it has registered with the server correctly, the key should appear and it should appear connected.
- If the key does not appear, then it is probably due to a problem in the communication between the server and the agent. To do this, check if any Error appears in the agent logs (in the View tab). If any error appears, check the following troubleshooting guide:
