Hi team,

I have a lab environment with wazuh instance of v4.14.1 (rc2) installed and I want to upgrade it to v4.14.4 stable version. I read articles that normal upgradation might be problematic from rc2 to the stable version. So can you help and guide me if I can follow the actual upgrade documentation or should I follow any other procedure to complete the upgradation without any problems. I have attached the installed version data for you

Regards,

Since you are performing this on a lab environment, you can opt for a fresh install of Wazuh 4.14.4 following the official installation guide.
If you prefer to try the standard upgrade path, it should work given that 4.14.4 is anyway higher than 4.14.1 which you are upgrading from, but you should:
- Take a backup of your environment, either a VM snapshot if it is ona virtual machine, or simply backup your configs.
- Directly upgrade your wazuh version following the official upgrade guide
- Verify that your wazuh version now reflects the intended version:

yum list installed wazuh-indexer

yum list installed wazuh-manager

yum list installed wazuh-dashboard
