I check the Server management --> Rules section where it keeps loading and then gives this error:

RequestError: Error fetching items

API error: ERR_BAD_REQUEST - Error reading rule files, wrong permissions

This is the issue I am currently experiencing

Hi John, Are you getting this error with the admin user or some other custom user you have created?
This can happen due to a lack of resources on the Wazuh Manager server.

Are you using an all-in-one server (Wazuh manager, indexer, and dashboard in one single server) or is it a distributed deployment?

Also, check the Wazuh manager logs for any relevant errors.
cat /var/ossec/logs/ossec.log | grep -iE "error|warn"

Also, check the memory usage on the server.
