Good morning,
I have wazuh server 4.7.0 on ubuntu 22.03 and win10 4.6.0/4.7.1 endpoints.

There is a simple methodology to upgrade the server to latest 4.7.2 version. Like a button "update available", "update now" or a simple command line?

Thanks.

Hi Massimiliano,

Thanks for contacting Wazuh,

A straightforward way to upgrade your Wazuh central components (server, indexer, and dashboard) to the latest version is by updating your package list.
you can use either:
  • sudo apt update -y
  • sudo yum update -y
Note that this will upgrade all installed packages, including Wazuh central components.

it is recommended to follow the upgrade guide for central components documentation. it will give a step-by-step to follow for both all-in-one deployment and clustered deployment.

Read carefully to follow it and you won't have issues, it is also advisable after upgrading the central components, to upgrade the agents too, ensuring they are on the same version.

Upgrading the agents is simpler and can be done remotely from the Wazuh server.
Follow the documentation here;  Upgrading Wazuh agent remotely

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
