SMTP server configuration

I want to configure the smtp server and my wazuh manager(CLI) was present in oracle vm virtualbox and I was not able to install the needed packages. In wazuh webpage there is only for Ubuntu and CentOS. So, Can you please say how to configure the smtp server and receive the mail alert from wazuh dasboard.

Can you please let us know the errors you are getting in order to install the needed packages?

Hi Bhargav,

You need to add your DNS servers to /etc/resolv.conf so it can know the hosts in the repo, for example in my case (google DNS is enough):

cat /etc/resolv.conf

 # Generated by NetworkManager

 nameserver 192.168.1.128 # local DNS
 nameserver 8.8.8.8
 nameserver 8.8.4.4
