Wazuh Agent – Unable to Change Service Name

I’ve followed the guide to rebrand the Wazuh agent using the instructions here:
Rebranding Wazuh Agent - From Sources

Everything worked fine regarding binary naming and branding. However, I’m unable to change the service name — it still shows up as wazuh-agent in the system service manager (e.g., systemctl or Windows Services).

I've attached some screenshots below to illustrate the issue.

Hello Sumit,

If you perform a search on the Wazuh codebase for "WazuhSvc" you'll find it in these files:

src/win32/InstallerScripts.vbs
src/win32/setup-win.c
src/win32/wazuh-installer.nsi
src/win32/wazuh-installer.wxs
src/win32/win_service.c

I'd recommend to change all occurances before re compiling and rebuilding the Wazuh agent msi package.
