I've been trying to integrate Google Chat via webhook, but it's been a nightmare.
Any guidance on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated.

To implement the integration, I suggest you take a look at the following documentation:

The idea is to create a script to integrate the Google Chat API with Wazuh. A similar question was asked a while ago. You can use the script provided as a basis for creating your own. It's for an older version of Wazuh, but the idea is the same.
