Hi Team,

I hope you are doing well.

We are facing two issues related to the Vulnerability Detector module in our Wazuh dashboard and would like assistance from the Wazuh community to understand and resolve them:

1. Vulnerability Description Not Displaying

When we open the Vulnerability Detector dashboard, the vulnerabilities are listed, but the description field is not being displayed.
Only the vulnerability ID and other metadata are shown, but the actual description/details of the vulnerability are missing.

2. Mismatch in Vulnerability Count

We noticed a discrepancy between the vulnerability counts shown in two different areas:

When we filter Status = Active in the Vulnerability Detector Dashboard, it displays one set of counts.

When we filter the same assets in the Discover section, it shows a different count for active vulnerabilities.

This mismatch is causing confusion and impacting our reporting and analysis.

Kindly help me with this issue.

Kind regards,
Jaswanth

Hi, could you tell me which version of Wazuh you have installed and how many agents you have registered?

Also, does your environment have a firewall or proxy that might be limiting requests from the host?

Hi Carlos

Thanks for the reply.

We currently have around 170 agents registered.
Yes, our environment has a hardware firewall in place.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Kind regards,
Jaswanth
