Nari Tsumuji is an antagonist in the manga series Choujin X. A choujin mercenary hired by Noh Mask, she is tasked with testing and kidnapping Tokio Kurohara. Later on, Nari appears as a leader of the Tower of Mourning under Zora.

Nari generally has a very relaxed and flirty personality, as shown by her taking along Tokio on their date as well as when she tried to talk her way out of her interrogation. Underneath that, Nari is shown to be a rather cruel and callous individual, clearly enjoying her "game" with Tokio and showing no remorse at crashing a plane of civilians after the timeskip.

Nari is initially hired by Noh Mask upon learning of a choujin being awakened as a beast. Nari is hired to discern whether Tokio's abilities are worthy of Noh Mask's attention, and to kill him if he doesn't fit her requirements.

Nari lures out Tokio by using her abilities as a choujin, sending out a signal that is only detectable by other choujin. Tokio receives the signal and heads off towards an abandoned zoo, although he was already planning on going there to begin with. Nari meets him there, pretending to be a girl that's just passing by. She convinces Tokio to explore the zoo with her. The two of them explore for a bit, with Tokio thinking that he's on a date with her. However, Nari quickly reveals her true intentions by turning into a snake and almost swallowing Tokio.

She then initiates a game with Tokio: he will need to evade her attacks. If Tokio succeeds, Nari will let him live. However if Nari gets three strikes on him, she will kill him. Tokio, who at the time had a very loose understanding of his abilities as a choujin, is unable to avoid her attacks. After scoring two strikes on him, Nari chews him out for being mediocre and moves in for the kill. However, she is intercepted by Ely Otta, who had received her and Tokio's signal and swooped in to save him.

With Ely's help, Tokio is better able to fight Nari. After seeing Nari use full beastification to turn into a giant snake, he does so himself, being able to score a single hit on her. He attempts to attack her again, but he breaks his arm punching her. He and Ely then come up with a plan to burn Nari from the inside using Ely's superheated smoke. However, they fail becaues of Ely running out of stamina at the last minute. Before Nari can kill them, she is intercepted by Simon Kagomura, a sword choujin who defeats Nari by repeatedly stabbing her with Loaned Sword. Nari is then taken prisoner by Yamato Mori, who identify her as a criminal.

Yamato Mori attempts to interrogate Nari, but she resists giving them information. Eventually, Ichiiro Sato, one of Yamato Mori's leaders, personally interrogates her. Sato then gives Nari visions of fly eggs hatching inside of her orifices while her body is devoured by larvae. In spite of the psychological torture Sato puts her through, however, Nari still refuses to divulge information.

Over the timeskip, Nari is broken free from prison and continues working with Noh Mask. Due to Zora losing so many members, including Chandra, durign the battle with Yamato Mori, she begins to take in mercenaries as members of her organization. As such, Nari is now a full member of the Tower, acting as one of its leaders.
