You will begin by considering the attempts to characterise the problems that can theoretically be solved by physically possible computational processes, along with the practical implications. You will then consider the area of complexity theory, looking at whether or not problems can be solved under limitations on resources such as time or space. You will examine the classes P and NP, and how to show problems are NP-complete. You will also consider other practically important classes such as: PSPACE, and its relevance to adversarial games, ontologies, and the semantic web; and also complexity classes such as NC relevant to understanding of parallel computation and the limitations of its effectiveness.
A board-certified physician at AFC Urgent Care South Philly will administer the required immigration physical according to mandated guidelines. These guidelines come from the Centers for Disease Control, U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services, and the Department of Homeland Security. These guidelines are mandatory for immigration or employers who hire employees from another country. Our civil surgeon will record the results of the exam on Form I-693 so patients can return it to the USCIS (INS). At our location in South Philly, Immigration Physicals are generally available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While no appointment is needed, we do encourage you to call ahead at (215) 964-9250 if you are coming with a large family. We want to be able to serve you promptly and answer any questions you may have.
Throughout the course you will have opportunities to apply your skills through a series of live projects, meaning you can gain experience of the real challenges faced in the industry. In your second year you will study a Continuing Professional Development module, in which you can either carry out a work placement or pursue an entrepreneurial project. You will also have the opportunity to complete certification courses from companies such as Microsoft. Supported by our technical staff, you will study in our dedicated workspaces and specialist labs with hardware and software resources.
The Internet of Things is a term used to describe an internet comprised of networked objects. The term incorporates concepts of computing, ambient intelligence, and machine to machine communication (M2M). All of these raise questions about how the use of smart technology in public and social spaces will affect how we relate to each other, and how we understand ourselves as human beings. On this module you will explore these questions through a practical project, developing Internet of Things technology for use in public or social contexts.
