Everysuperhero has an origin story, and it is always nice to be able to see how an individual meant for great things grew over the years and into the role that is well-known and beloved. For Peter Parker in Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man 2, his early years are intricately tied to that of Harry Osborn, his best friend and fellow scientist in the making.

While their adult lives have taken detours, it is clear that the pair will cross paths at some point. But before all that, the game presents a scenario where players can relive some of their adventures when they were just teenagers, sowing the seed for the future that will come with the Emily-May Foundation. This guide will provide the steps needed to obtain that elusive flash drive from the guard at Empire State University.

This particular mission will unfold once Harry comes back into the lives of Peter and Mary Jane in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. After the bike ride to the school, players are brought into a flashback sequence in which the two young men attempt to liberate a flash drive left behind in school after hours. What begins then is a stealth sequence that sees a fresh Spider-Man trying to use his powers to accomplish that objective.

The first challenge will require players to distract the janitor, so aim the cart at the standee of Flash Thompson and destroy it to clear the path forward. Follow along the set path, but eventually, the two will split up, with Peter taking to the ceiling as he aims to refill his Web-Shooters in the photo lab.

Be wary of the patrolling guard, and keep tabs on his using R3 to scan the surroundings. Climb into the nearby room and look for a vent that leads to the next. Once the guard has moved past the open door, drop and head to the opposite room. Get up on the ceiling again and enter the vent just above the ladder.

This will lead to the photo lab, where the Web-Shooter refill can be found under the sink on the far side. There are other interactive objects in the lab, so feel free to check things out. Once Peter is filled up, exit via the vents again, climbing until a moving fan blocks the way. Jam it up using the web, and move into the next section.

With the guard back again, distract him by popping the balloons straight ahead using Peter's web and exit to the left. Now, get to the ceiling again to enter the room with the opening up top. Continue forward, where the next path is blocked by the janitor once more. Use L1+R1 on the trash bin nearby and wait for him to leave his current spot. Drop behind him and move forward.

Reunited with Harry, another security guard will come out of the lift to scan for intruders. Use the balloons as a distraction, and move to the lockers to grab the flash drive. Of course, things aren't that easy -- the drive will be in the possession of the guard who called the cops.

Now begins a stealth section that will be familiar to players. With Peter up in the rafters, the objective is to distract the police officers, so they leave the security guard alone. Use R3 to scan for possible options, and use your Web-Shooters to pierce the balloons at the far end for the first distraction.

Move to the central light fixture and descend using the left analog stick. Once Peter is close enough to the unknowing guard, grab the flash drive and complete this flashback sequence for a cool 2000 XP.

Spider-Man first debuted in Oakland, California on January 5th, 2001, with an unknown driver, who is speculated to be Lee O'Donnell. Brandon Harrington and Lee O'Donnell would drive the truck during the winter season, Charlie Pauken would drive the truck at the second Pontiac show and Gary Porter later took the truck to World Finals II, where they would lose in round 2 of racing and would finish 7th in freestyle with a 31. During the same season, the truck would also perform the Steel Wall stunt as Mr. Destruction on two occasions, driven by Dennis Anderson.

In 2002, Lee would temporarily stop driving in Monster Jam and he would leave the team (he'd return to the sport in 2006 driving Monster Mutt). Brandon Harrington would temporarily leave the team to drive Vette King, and Charlie Pauken and Carl Van Horn would drive the truck during the season at select events where Carl would famously get a racing win in Tampa, beating Tom Meents. The truck later makes its only video game appearance in Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction. At the World Finals, the chassis was used for Team Meents in the encore. Later in the year, Bobby Zee would drive Spider-Man in France and at the final show in Minneapolis to end the year.

In 2003, Brandon Harrington returns to Spider-Man along with rookie George Balhan where they would drive two different Spider-Man trucks during the winter season. Brandon's truck is run on the former Sting/Vette King chassis while Balhan's was a new build. The original Spiderman chassis becomes Demolition Man, driven by Bobby Zee for three Steel Wall stunts. It also runs as Vette King on two occasions under George Balhan while Zee drove Balhan's Spiderman truck. Balhan's truck is used at World Finals IV, driven by Bobby Zee, and Harrington's truck returns to being Vette King that same weekend. Later that year, Spider-Man would make last show at Sunrise, Florida, Monster Jam's original Marvel sponsorship expired, and Spider-Man was retired for the time. George would move to Blue Thunder, Bobby would move to Monster Mutt, and Brandon continues driving Vette King. Balhan/Zee's Spider-Man chassis goes on to become the new Demolition Man for the 2004 season. The original chassis becomes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles later in the year.
