I've resumed tests on one of the aircraft I've been SLOWLY working on.
When using curve stitcher I kept having issues with pieces not
unfolding correctly. After some tests, I finally came up with the
solution. It seems that the faces all have to be aligned properly for
waybe to correctly unfold them. So, if you're having trouble with a
piece unfolding - try this first.

Ryan,

Could you expand a little on what "aligned properly" is? Do all the
edges need to fully match, is it a function of the angles, etc?

Thanks,

No, what I was having trouble with was solved by selecting a panel, or face,
right clicking, and selecting "reverse faces." For some reason the Curve
Stitcher tool was creating stitches, but some of the panels (2 in the case I
was testing) were facing the reverse direction as the others, causing Waybe
to seperate them from the rest of the piece I was trying to create.

Ryan,

I personally debugged an aircraft fuselage that you sent Ron.

The issue with the fuselage (and other complicated componentry) is
that to unfold successfully there must be a stretch component to the
surfaces otherwise you necessarily will have overlapping. In many
instances, using the manual unfolder can approximate solutions to
naturally overlapping models and I would encourage using that. We
decided not to take Waybe into the stretch universe as it opens up a
Pandora's box - a box which some more sophisticated and difficult to
use programs can attempt handle.
