test pulse issue

Hi everyone,

When I run the test pulse it pauses/freezes intermittently making us impossible to patch.

I use:

Multiclamp 700B

NI USB 6343 (BNC)

Matlab 2020b (version 9.9.0.1.1467703)

Windows 10

Everything else (e.g., data acquisition, hardware control) is working as expected.

I wonder if anyone encountered and resolved a similar issue or can advise on the potential things to check for.

I wonder if this is related, but I've been having the opposite problem. Test pulses work perfectly, but data acquisition is impossible. The program freezes when I press "Play" or "Record", and MATLAB crashes soon after.

Using Dagan BVC-700A

NI PCIe 6374

NI BNC 2110

Matlab 2020b (have also tried Matlab 2015b)

Windows 10

I realize this almost certainly comes too late to be helpful, but I just released a new version of WaveSurfer that fixes the Test Pulser issue in recent versions of Matlab:
