hello, i don't know the answer, will defer -- but are you using your microcontroller dynamic clamp setup in conjunction with wavesurfer?

I do plan to use the Teensy dynamic clamp together with Wavesurfer (whenever the lab reopens). The simplest way would be to have a separate GUI specifying the dynamic clamp conductances running in parallel with Wavesurfer, which would handle the current clamp part and record the data. The two programs don’t really need to interact with each other.
But it would be nicer to integrate the two – to have a single interface where one could specify both the current clamp and dynamic clamp protocols. That’s one of my projects for this “extended vacation” (I'm teleworking from home for the foreseeable future).
I’m new to Wavesurfer. Until now, I’ve used a data acquisition program I wrote myself. But I like the structure of the program a lot and am trying to understand the user interface.
If you’re interested in the dynamic clamp stuff, let me know. I’m happy to share whatever I write and to get feedback and/or contributions.

Thanks. I might take you up on your debugging offer, but I’d like to play around with the program some more first.
Because the lab is closed – and I don’t have physical access to a rig – I’ve just been running two versions of the Multiclamp Commander in “demo mode” on my computer. One version is a 700A, the other is a 700B. But in the Electrode panel, I can only set Index to 1 or 2. That lets me choose between one or the other channel of whichever demoed Multiclamp I opened first. I don’t know how to select the channels of the second Multiclamp.
Also, if I start with just one Multiclamp (adding electrodes for both channels) and then open the second Multiclamp, I get an error message if I try to reconnect (“Mismatch in type of outputs, at index 2, output 1 (uint32 versus double). Set ‘UniformOutput’ to false”). I also get this error if the two Multiclamps are running before I open Wavesurfer.
Maybe this is an oddity of running the Multiclamp Commander in demo mode, in which case maybe it doesn’t matter. But I wanted to check that this capability was supported before going further.
