Major infrastructure projects underway in Melbourne, include the Metro Tunnel, North East Link and the West Gate Tunnel. Given the long design life of these projects, the influence of climate change on flood risk must be considered. At this event guests will hear from the engineers involved in calculating, managing and mitigating flood risk, and learn how designs have been adapted to ensure consistency between projects and the future safety of infrastructure users.
