Stand-alone Wave app?

Does anyone know if there is an outside-the-browser application for Wave? Or, is anyone aware of one in the works? The closest I've found is Waver for Adobe Air, but it was less then impressive.

Oh, I'm running Ubuntu Linux, BTW.

The only stand alone app that I know of is Waveboard, which is for iPhone and Mac. I would say they are decent given the lack of other apps
