Discussions are waves not blips

I think it's a great idea to link Waves with group. It'll be
interesting to see how the intercommunication between the two systems
work. One way to bridge the gap might be to use third party
applications for instance online notebooks to store and forward the
attachments and text and then copy and paste from notebooks to wave
blips.

My only concern is that all discussions are generated in the form of
"waves" as opposed to blips within a master group "wave" as it were.
For example, it's neat to keep in touch with groups and topics within
groups because of the way they are arranged (in the form of threaded
discussions). This structure is disrupted in the current state of
Google Wave as each discussion is a wave rather than a blip with
replies and sub replies.

But interesting to watch, anyway.
