Hi all,

have to say, I'm very excited I am about this project.  There are some really smart and enthusiastic people on the team and we have a chance of creating something great. FYI I'm off on holiday tomorrow.  I could pretend I'm busy flying around the world making deals and being important. But I'm actually going to be slowly meandering down the rivers and canals of France drinking lots of wine and eating great food with my best friends.  Can't wait.

I'll be back on the 19th and in my absence would like James Wilson to take over the reigns.  James was the lead developer on our Global Youth Panel project (1,000 young people from 100 different countries discussing the Copenhagen climate change conference using Google Wave.  At the time it was the largest single user group of Wave and might still be).  James created stuff with Wave that even Pamela Fox was impressed by and more importantly, really delivered when we needed him to.  James is great.

1) We need volunteers to look through the Forum Botty, Thoughtsite, Karma and Debatewise GYP code to see what features/if any we can reuse.  If this interests you, please go to the above wave and put your name next to the software you're going to look at. Please add any others we should know about.

That's not how it works, at least last I checked.  A thread is *either* on the mailing list or is a wave, not both.  (Yes, this is silly, but Google Groups' Wave integration is still pretty light.)

My recommendation is that we mainly use waves instead, and invite this group to those waves so they include everyone - more in the spirit of the thing...
