Robert and I had a chat and came up with the following things to discuss at the next meeting:

(1) Submit the gadget to Google so that it's easier to provide embedded forms.

(2) Use WattDepot's Google Visualization API to avoid multiple HTTP requests for calculated data.

(3) Provide a popup menu of sources to select similar to what you did with the GeoMap visualization.

Summary:

(1) create a new directory called "public" and put the file in there (without any version number).  Send that URL off to Google.

(2) Convert to google visualization API for calculated data.

(3) add a drop-down menu to the PlotMonitor window that allows the user to select a different source.   If there are more than 100 sources, then display a drop-down menu with the source listed in the preferences page and indicate that there are too many sources to list in the drop-down menu.

(4) Paper review

Provide a developer's guide: how to use the library, how to load the library, etc.

Provide a user's guide to the gadgets that have been written using this library.

Provide references in a bibliography section:  there is a published paper on WattDepot, for example.  Also could have references (URLs) to tools like QUnit, and references (Books) to Javascript, Java, etc.

Provide section titles, table of contents, etc.

(5) QUnit: post details of how to reproduce the error you are getting.
