Angular JS for WattDepot 3.0?

I've been thinking about the best UI technology for the next major release of WattDepot, and it occurs to me that an AngularJS UI (when combined with a Java service-oriented backend) might work well.  Here's a tutorial on AngularJS:

Looks like an interesting option that might further reduce the manual coding effort required.
