ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION CAMBODIA - ESC
BREMEN OVERSEAS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION - BORDA

Since 2009, ESC-BORDA Cambodia have implemented School Based Sanitation (SBS) projects in seven Cambodian primary schools. SBS projects aim to improve the health, hygiene and sanitation situation in schools by:

1. Building School WASH Institutions
2. Promoting Health & Hygiene Education
3. Improving Sanitation Infrastructure with good Operation & Maintenance


Due to planned expansion of SBS projects in Cambodia, ESC-BORDA Cambodia is currently seeking a Cambodian national to fill the following position: Assistant SBS Social Facilitator 
(Full-time, 1 position based in Phnom Penh or province as required)

- Expected start date: as soon as possible 
- Salary range: $250 to $350 / Month
- Three months probation period

This position will report directly to the SBS Social Facilitator and SBS Project Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation of the planning and preparation of SBS social activities
Coordination & implementation of SBS social field activities 
Facilitating social trainings for school level stakeholders 
Implementing SBS reporting and documentation management
Managing communications with SBS stakeholders 
Other duties as required by the SBS project 

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree majoring in education, development, public health, WASH or other related field

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years relevant work experience in the NGO or private sector
Experience in the field of WASH, Environment, Health Education
Experience working in schools
Experience in training and facilitating workshops
Experience working with local government agencies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Excellent Khmer communication skills, written and verbal
Good English translation abilities, written and verbal
Advanced computer skills with standard programs & Unicode

IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES 
Strong interest in the WASH sector
Pro-active, dynamic, hard-working, responsible and positive attitude 
Able to work independently
Able to plan and commit to work to meet deadlines
Strong attitude and desire in learning to improve his/her skills and experience
Willing to travel
Owns a motorbike
