It consists of organisations and institutions working together as partners with the Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA) in development programmes in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Their shared mission is to improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged groups within societies and to sustain the functioning of eco-systems by dissemination of demand oriented Basic Needs Services in the fields of decentralised wastewater treatment, sanitation, water and energy supply as well as solid waste management.
