The reconfiguration of Mount Auburn Street, in conjunction with
Coolidge Square improvements, represents a very important opportunity
to improve cycling and pedestrian conditions in Watertown. This street
is a key artery that is used heavily not only by motorists, but also
by cyclists, pedestrians, school children, and the disabled. The
current four-lane design was developed in the 1980's when there was
minimal awareness to the needs of non-motorized traffic. Now we have
the opportunity to rethink that design to accommodate all users.

Please come to the meeting to learn more about the project, and to
offer your ideas and opinions on this important topic.
