Shri Orange Distillery & Beverages Pvt. Ltd. plans to set up a New 120 KLD Molasses/ Grain based Distillery along with a 4 MW Bagasse based Co-Generation Power Plant at Fatehpur Roshni, Rania, Tehsil : Akbarpur, Dist : Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh.

Project Cost : Rs.178.58 Crores
Location : Fatehpur Roshni, Rania, Tehsil : Akbarpur, Dist : Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh.
As on May 21, 2019 : The Project is under Planning Stage.
The expansion would come up in its existing 7.0246 Acres of Land .
Out of this about 33% of the area will be developed as Green Belt.

The Main Scope of Supply includes:
Boiler : 20 TPH - 1 No.(Fuel : Bagasse )
Boiler : 35 TPH - 1 No. (Incineration Boiler)
Steam consumption for the process is 34 TPH for Molasses/ 36 TPH for Grain Based Unit , will be sourced from Boiler ;
Fuel (Fuel :Bagasse Fired)
Heat Exchanger, Air Pre-Heater/ Economiser

Air Pollution Control Equipment :
Electrostatic Precipitator will be installed with the proposed boiler. Adequate boiler stack height
will be provided. .
Steam generated from the boilers and will be utilized in the generation of additional
4 MW Power and will also be used for Boiler feed water heating and Distillery.
Flue gases after super heating the steam will pass through Economizer where they will Pre-Heat the boiler Feed water before it enters the boiler drum. After Economizer, flue will pass through Air Pre-Heaters where they will heat the air which will be fed to the boiler furnace for burning the fuel.

Effluent Treatment Plant :
Effluent Treatment Plant :
The proposed grain based distillery would be based on “Zero Liquid Discharge” (ZLD). Spent wash will be treated in MEE (Multiple Effect Evaporator), than the semisolid waste from MEE (Multiple Effect Evaporator) will be sent in specially designed boiler for incineration. Condensate will be treated in condensate polishing unit and will used as water in cooling tower..
Spent wash from molasses based distillery will be treated in biomethanisation, concentrated in Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE) followed by Bio-composting.
Total Effluent :
900 KLD (For Molasses based Unit) and / 816 KLD (For Grain based Unit)

Fire Fighting System shall be as per the TAC Norms and cover all areas where alcohol is produced, handled and stored.
Provision of Foam System for Fire Fighting to control fire from the alcohol storage tank.
Green Belt Development plan in 33 % area and a scheme for Rainwater Harvesting have to be put in place.
