Hi Everyone!
I just want to remind you all about Member’s Meeting this Sunday. Here are the details again:
Member’s Meeting
Date: Sunday, June 24, 2012
Time: 5:30PM
Location: SLC 2134
So, I want to re-iterate the importance of Member’s Meeting again:
v Feedback from the fellowship for
o Friday Night, and how they are run
o Ministries
v Suggestions for
o future CCF events
o Friday Nights
o anything you would like to see
Disclaimer: The following is my personal message to you all in regards to Member’s Meeting.
Even though we call it Member’s Meeting, please note that it does mean if you are not officially a member in CCF, that you cannot or shouldn’t attend. If you consistently attend the fellowship, and call it your spiritual home of brothers and sisters here in university, we want to hear from you.
We, as the Executive Team for CCF, have been called to lead the fellowship, but it is God’s fellowship and it is made up by all of us as one body. So we would really encourage anyone part of the fellowship to come out and help contribute.
There’s no way that Committee can personally know deeply and communicate with each and every one of you in the fellowship. So we definitely cannot hear what you have to say in order to develop the fellowship that is CCF, that God has put on this campus. Member’s Meeting is the best opportunity the fellowship as a whole, has to come together to discuss where God might be leading us.
Please consider coming this Sunday night!
Also:
Don’t forget the QUESTION(s) OF THE WEEK!!!:
v Have I been building up the Body of Christ?
v Am I living a life worthy of the calling we received?
“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:1-3 (emphasis mines)
Have a blessed weekend everyone and enjoy the nice weather (though there might be a thunderstorm again on Sunday ><).
James Ng, on behalf of UWCCF Committee
