Hello all,

I trust exam season is going well; this was brought to my attention by a WSS member and I thought I would share it with you all.

As some of you may know, the Perseid Meteor Shower is happening this coming week; Science Outreach is hosting a Stargazing Party on Tuesday, August 12th in partnership with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter. There is a lecture planned before hand, after which viewing will take place behind Brubacher House next to CIF.

If you're looking for a break from studying, I can think of few things cooler than watching as dozens of space-rocks burn up in our upper atmosphere.

WSS will be there with our dobsonian telescope, so we'll look forwards to seeing you there!
